1. Acceptance of these Terms

By installing the Boardmarks extension, using this website, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the product.

2. What we provide

Boardmarks is a browser extension that replaces the Chrome New Tab page with a workspace for bookmarks, boards, calendar notes, and reminders. Your workspace data is stored locally in your browser. The service is provided as software, not as a data backup or archival service.

3. Accounts and eligibility

A 7-day free trial starts when you enter your email in the extension. For paid plans we collect your email (and payment details via Razorpay) so we can issue a license key, send receipts, and provide support. You must be at least 18 years old, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian, to make a payment.

4. Plans, pricing and billing

• Current plans and prices are published on our Pricing page: 7-day free trial, Pro Yearly (auto-renewing subscription), and Pro Lifetime (one-time). Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Pro Yearly renews automatically each year via Razorpay Subscriptions until you cancel. Pro Lifetime is a one-time payment with no renewals.
• After payment we verify the transaction on our server, generate a license key in the form BMRK-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, email it to you, and show it on the checkout success page. You activate the key in the extension (Settings → License). Each key may be active on one device at a time; you can deactivate from that device to move it.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or netbanking credentials.
• We may change prices or plan contents. Changes apply to new purchases and to renewals after we notify you; they do not change the price of a billing period you have already paid for.

5. Delivery and access

Boardmarks is a digital product. There is no physical shipment. Access to paid features is activated after a successful payment, as described in our Delivery and Access Policy.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time. Refund eligibility and timelines are described in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the extension as your own
• Use the product to store or distribute unlawful or infringing content
• Attempt to bypass payment, licensing, or usage limits
• Interfere with, overload, or attack our website, APIs, or infrastructure

8. Intellectual property

The Boardmarks name, logo, website, and extension code are owned by Boardmarks. You keep full ownership of the content you create inside the extension, such as your bookmarks, boards, notes, and reminders.

9. Your data and backups

Because workspace data is stored in your browser profile, it can be lost if you remove the extension, clear browser data, or lose access to your device or Chrome profile. We recommend using the built-in JSON export regularly. We are not responsible for data lost from your local browser storage.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the product working reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Chrome platform changes, store policies, or technical issues may affect availability. We may add, modify, or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid plan entirely, we will refund the unused portion of the current billing period.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The product is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Reminders and notifications are convenience features and should not be relied on as the only mechanism for time-critical or safety-critical tasks. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the product is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹0 if you use only the Free plan.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached, if payment is reversed or charged back, or if required by law. You may stop using the product at any time by removing the extension.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts having jurisdiction over House No. 298, Ali Vihar, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, Delhi 110076, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to applicable law.
